Principal Data Engineer
Boston, MA – Remote
This mission-based Healthcare Analytics company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to join their team!
Job Overview:
This company focuses on PACE programs and has an overall goal to reduce utilization, keeping people out of the hospital. They are currently working on a lot of greenfield development and scaling, so your contributions would have a big impact on the product and company. Their idea candidate is a principal level Data Engineer with an expertise in Python and all things ETL. This position is mainly remote, but they’d like the team to meet at their Boston office once a month.
Responsibilities:
- You will be owning end-to-end the design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of software solutions.
- Improving the efficiency and reliability of the data pipeline, and ensuring the quality of the data this pipeline produces
- Mentoring junior engineers through coding reviews and guidance in designing features
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7+ years of experience using Python
- Experience owning and delivering software solutions
- Experience using Airflow
- Strong attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus!
