The Role
As th Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive DEI programs and initiatives within SoFi Technologies. Your role will be crucial in fostering an inclusive culture, driving equitable practices, and promoting diversity at all levels of the organization. By collaborating with various stakeholders, you will shape strategies, drive initiatives, and measure progress toward our DEI goals.
What you’ll do
- Revolutionize and take ownership of the DEI Strategy at SoFI.
- Identify areas of strength and uncover opportunities for even greater impact, integrating them into key initiatives such as the People team roadmap, goals, and multi-year prioritiesDevelop and implement a strategic DEI roadmap aligned with the company’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, HR, and other key stakeholders to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of the organization’s operations and culture.
- Conduct assessments to identify gaps and opportunities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company.
- Develop and implement policies, practices, and programs to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to employee resource groups (ERGs) and affinity groups, fostering their growth, impact, and alignment with company goals.
- Lead the design and delivery of learning programs and workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, aimed at increasing awareness, understanding, and inclusive behaviors across the organization.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition and HR teams to enhance diversity in recruitment, hiring, and retention practices, promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Establish metrics and regularly measure and report on the effectiveness of DEI initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for change.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and incorporate relevant insights into program design and implementation.
- Build relationships with external partners, organizations, and communities focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion to leverage insights, resources, and collaboration opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor and resource for employees, providing guidance and support on DEI-related matters, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard.
What you’ll need:
- 10 + years of experience within a DEI program management role
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Organizational Development, Social Sciences) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and programs within the tech industry.
- Deep understanding of diversity and inclusion concepts, practices, and challenges, particularly within a tech or fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor programs effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in measuring and reporting on DEI metrics and outcomes.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify barriers and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity.
Nice To Have
- Professional certifications in DEI or related fields (e.g., Certified Diversity Professional, Certified Diversity Executive) are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

Pay range: $140,400.00 – $214,500.00
Payment frequency: Annual
