Principal Group Product Manager

This role will help define the strategy for Microsoft Teams in Mobile for the Commercial audience, creating mechanisms for coherence across other vertical s, partner teams, and our desktop clients . We are looking for product managers with a focus on high-craft mobile experiences . You will be responsible for ensuring that the product we are developing meets, and exceeds, the needs of customers a nd internal teams alike . This role requires a mix of product thinking, strategic thinking, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of successfully driving mission critical projects with cross-company, and/or cross-industry stakeholders
  • Proven leader with a passion for obtaining results that impact a business’ bottom line, and can combine a strong technical acumen with a solid business background to proactively plan strategy
  • Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, strong history of solving complex problems .
  • Design thinking skills and product management capability .
  • History of attracting, retaining and developing talent
  • Aptitude for analytical thinking, disciplined problem solving and data analysis skills
  • Collaboration, business management , and relationship management skills for effective relationships and making change happen in a highly matrixed environment
  • Able to conduct insightful conversations with leadership and technical decision makers.
  • Communicate complex ideas to others in a clear, effective, and motivating manner.

Product Management M6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,500 – $276,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,800 – $304,200 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team , both direct and indirect, of pro duct managers who will create and drive execution of a multi-year visi on, stra tegy and execution plan
  • Managing cross-team partnerships and relationships with engineering, UX, and marketing to establish a shared strategic framework, technical vision, plans, and roadmap.
