Principal PMT – Audio Ads, Audio Ads

Amazon Audio Advertising is pioneering new ways that help brands advertise on digital audio services, and reach Amazon customers across our owned and operated properties and leading audio streaming services. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Product Manager to drive new Audio Ads initiatives that cater to listeners and advertiser needs, think big, and partner closely with our stakeholders to build best in class solutions that scale globally.

This position will break new ground in audio ads and requires ability simplify and address the customer experience for both the listener and the advertiser, ability to identify new opportunities, bringing them from idea to market, and doing so while determining what technology to reuse, expand and invent for our customers and advertisers.

And you have strong ability to partner with others and influence priorities across organizations with both business and technical partners.

You will:

– Define the vision and direction of initiatives under your purview, create and manage their roadmap, development and go to market.

– Dive deep to learn customer and advertiser needs, technical capabilities, and data available, to drive decision making and identify new opportunities.

– Partner with engineering, program managers, and peer product managers to invent new capabilities, explore new technologies, and challenge existing ways to execute on your initiatives.

– Build and maintain strong relationships between Amazon Ads and its internal stakeholders, creating mechanism that improve our collaboration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

– 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

– Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
