Amazon’s Publisher Technology team is looking for an experienced Product Manager who will contribute to the vision and strategy of our publisher’s creative technologies.
Amazon PubTech is a program that is pioneering new experiences for Amazon’s first party (e.g. Prime Video, FireTV, Twitch, Retail, etc) publishers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Principal Product Management – Technical to lead our creative product suite. Our scope will grow substantially and we are looking for a strong leader to build best in class publisher experiences, and deliver a scalable system that will delight customers worldwide.
This is a highly visible position with significant impact and growth. You will lead across engineering, science, marketing, operations, finance, and legal. You will be responsible for defining a new vision for how our publishers can balance the needs of advertisers and customers. You will be responsible for partnering closely with engineering to set priorities and make tradeoffs for your products. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of your business including revenue, customer concerns, and long term success.

Spending time with customers to learn about their needs
Understanding the external landscape and staying close to industry developments
Developing product visions and working backwards documents
Reviewing engineering designs, for the highest impact deliverables
Creating compelling messaging that excites your customers
Consistently improving the quality of your products through inspection and execution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience technical product management
– Experience owning data-centric products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
– Experience in creating ad serving products for ad selection like dynamic allocation, and pod optimization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
