Ring is seeking a results-driven Principal Technical Product Manager to join our product team to bring new, emerging products to market. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness.
Key job responsibilities
– Experience in bringing new camera products to market with a high degree of ambiguity by understanding customer needs and industry trends.
– Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
– Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support load.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across disciplines and levels in the organization.
– Work alongside hardware and software teams to deliver your products on time, with quality.
– Work cross-functionally with teams to execute product launches.
– Proactively identify and resolve strategic and/or tactical issues that impair the teams’ ability to meet goals.
– Experience in improving product operations efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience technical product management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
– MBA or Masters Degree in Engineering

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
