The Global Delivery Service Partner (DSP) team is part of the Last Mile Product and Technology organization and is responsible for designing, launching, and managing the strategy of the DSP program around the world.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead a team within our pricing discipline, which is vital to the program’s long run viability and success. This individual and team lead all pricing activities from end-to-end world-wide, including the strategy and logic of pricing activities for all expansions and new payments as well as managing and iterating upon pricing and technology that has been established.
A day in the life
The Principal Product Manager in this role will spend their time developing and maintaining pricing rules and tenets that drive our strategic vision WW, building pricing tools that enable that vision, and automating pricing processes to allow for global scale.
About the team
The DSP Pricing, Profit, and Payments team sets the standard rates and terms of payment for partners operating within the Amazon Transportation network everywhere it operates. We obsess over the financial success of these partners and their employees. Our pricing balances equitable near-term outcomes for partners and their employees with ensuring our partners are the long-term capacity of choice for Amazon due to their cost effectiveness and unique ability to scale. Our payments are fast, seamless, and frustration-free and and position our partners for financial success.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience as a product manager or owner
– 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience owning technology products
– MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
