The NA Learning and Development Team is looking for an entrepreneurial, strategic & seasoned Principal Product Manager-Singular Intuitive Learning Management System (SI-LMS) to drive vision, business requirements, product development, and Operation engagement for products that help AMZL discover cost-effective and forward-looking learning for Amazonians. They will work closely with Science and Engineering teams to successfully implement, and communicate independently with leadership and stakeholders to showcase the team’s work.
This Principal Product Manager will be responsible for owning and developing new iterations of our Learning delivery mechanisms, specifically for high impact to learning curve and career mobility to our learners. This Principal Product Manager will have business and product sense combined with a solid understanding of technical and gamification concepts. You must have a strong learning background that enables you to conduct data-driven roadmap, a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about customer service initiatives and the ability to persuade executives to build consensus on objectives. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
– Define, own, prioritize, and deliver against a product roadmap
– Write business requirements, create the case for prioritizing projects, work with tech teams to size and implement software, and track progress to deliver at high bar on time
– Create buy-in for the strategic vision and product roadmap across necessary teams
– Partner closely across functions, including Field teams, Science, Engineering, etc. to drive strategic initiatives
– Influence the broader organization and be able to coach others on product management best practices
– Test automation in Continuous Integration setup and support multi-site development and deployment for multiple platforms

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
