Principal Program Manager, Community Operations

The Community Operations Community Insights CI team is a product and science team focused on helping Amazon be a better neighbor in the communities impacted by Amazon’s physical footprint by building measurement tools and statistical models. We are hiring a Program Manager to support our core data product offerings.

This role is open to all corporate locations in America.

Key job responsibilities
• Work across multiple business lines to coordinate the delivery of pro-bono logistics projects
• Partner with teams across WW OPS to identify opportunities for support, scope efforts and drive delivery
• Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
• Prepare and conduct post-project reviews to identify gaps and improve/optimize the fulfillment experience
• Manage multiple parallel projects; create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders, including senior management
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
• Work closely with our Ops Excellence, Account Management, and Product teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvements and new product/features
• Ability to travel 25% of the time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 10+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

– 10+ years of program or project management experience

– 10+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

– 10+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

– Experience defining and executing program requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
