The AWS Supply Chain Go-to-Market (GTM) team is growing, and our organization is looking for a Strategic supply chain application sales specialist with experience selling supply chain applications enabling digital supply chain transformation solutions for large global customers across multiple industries.
This role will utilize a collaborative and strategic mindset to highlight the best of the AWS Supply Chain application to enable our customers to deploy solutions across the end-to-end supply chain initially focusing on planning, inventory, and supplier collaboration. Our team highlights capabilities in the core application, and also helps develop and bring new solutions to market with our customers, partners, and internal Pan-Amazon teams. This role will include ambiguity in creative situations to drive innovation through ideation.
A great candidate will leverage knowledge in the following:
– Planning: forecasting, demand planning/sensing, supply planning, integrated business planning, and S&OP
– Sourcing & Procurement: supplier B2B, eProcurement, and supplier catalogs
– Supply Chain Strategy: network design, sustainability, and control towers
– Manufacturing technology: Base Manufacturing planning & execution, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) enablement
– Fulfillment: Inventory management inventory strategy, segmentation, and omni-channel
– Industry supply chain experience: Auto, Manufacturing, Industrial, Retail, CPG, Energy, Mining, High Tech, and/or Healthcare & Life Science

– Engaging with our AWS Partner Network, and key industry Independent Software Vendors with their Digital Supply Chain solutions on AWS
– Providing supply chain thought leadership by participating in industry conferences and executive briefings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of technology related sales experience.
• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.
• Direct sales or specialized sales experience working with Global customers.
• Industry experience selling supply chain Planning, Inventory, Fulfillment, Supplier Collaboration applications, and/or the integration of these complex solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven track record in creating net new demand which builds a sustainable business.
• Experience managing large and strategic Global customer accounts across a geographical territory.
• Communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with customer executives, IT management, and internal stakeholders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
