The Solutions Product Manager will lead solution definition and development to support Zebra’s targeted expansions across its vertical markets. This leader will assess market opportunities, lead market and customer research and develop solution requirements to capitalize on new growth opportunities. This Individual is responsible for leading interaction with every organization responsible for the development, production, marketing, sales and service of that product line to assure successful business results for that product line as a result of satisfying customer needs. This leader will adeptly assess and quantify the value that these new solutions deliver to prospective clients and will leverage experience to create compelling business cases for investment in Zebra solutions.

***Role can be onsite Hybrid at one of our primary locations or Remote United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary research with customers, end users and industry advisors to understand and document critical workflows, assess gaps/opportunities and define ideal solution to deliver business objectives
  • Develop detailed solution requirements by combining primary customer research with external research and insights from Zebra product and engineering leaders
  • Quantify the value that new solutions deliver to end customers as well as the market opportunity for Zebra
  • Conduct competitive analysis of solution space and quantify competitive differentiation
  • Actively engage and develop Zebra’s partner network to actively support solution development and delivery
  • Develop and support go to market strategies, working closely with sales organization to realize solution’s market potential
  • Serve as a subject matter expert internally for product development teams
  • Assess future growth opportunities aligned with the strategic growth direction

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 12+ years of related industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing or leading others
  • Software Solutions SaaS business experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Solution development experience- developing detailed solution requirements
  • Industry retail manufacturing experience
  • Past experience working in a Software company selling solutions
  • Experienced in conducting end user interviews and translating into workflows and use case maps
  • Adept at writing clear and concise solution requirements (multi-product solution with emphasis on software)
  • Experience working with engineering teams to guide solution development
  • Experience in developing go to market strategies, specifically leveraging partner networks to advance business objectives
  • Superior communicator – with the ability to clearly convey complex topics in writing and verbally
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and oral presentation skills as well as ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, clients and customers
  • Ability to assess complex market landscape and create focused, integrated product plans
  • Highly skilled in developing quantitative business cases to convey ROI customers can attain
  • Highly creative with ability to think strategically and develop strategic/business plans
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter; this individual must be adaptable, persuasive, tenacious and perceptive and be able to execute a well-developed plan
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate intellectual agility by applying experience to new market areas and industries. Proven proficiency in learning new industries, products, or technical knowledge
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel

Salary: USD 146600.00 – USD 219800.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
