AWS Support is seeking an experienced technical manager to lead our Security Programs team. In this role you will guide the vision and direction to build upon and expand our existing systems that are fundamental to running a support operation with best-in-class security.

As a Principal, TPM you will:
- Drive tooling programs, and standardize and mechanize efforts to continuously raise the operational efficiency, customer experience and security bar.
- Work with AWS teams to convey cloud computing and development best practices.
- Work with AWS teams to define the tooling strategy for the business.
- Ensure transparency and decision making across AWS leadership by providing communication and clear status of the projects your team owns.
- Work across teams to ensure we continue to merge internal support capabilities with best-in-class security as new services and features are launched.
- Bring your expertise, problem solving skills, and creativity to add value and diversity of thought to our team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Strong demonstrated knowledge across a broad spectrum of technologies, tools, and architectures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
