Principal Technologist Opportunity!

We have an opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama for an experienced Principal Technologist.
In This Exciting Role You Will…

  • Set the vision for the corporate R&D and execute comprehensive tasks from identifying technologies, securing funding, executing research, developing IP, and managing a technology team.
  • Provide recommendations to customers concerning applicability, usability, and maturity of various types of technologies.
  • Identification and work with multiple government agencies with funding programs that invest in technology maturation.
  • Develop commercialization plans.
  • Work within a team in the management and execution of technology investment projects.
  • Manage multiple projects to include financial, schedule, and risk management.
  • Recommend and implement project management, knowledge management, and coordination processes and tools.
  • Support development and management of materials for project status coordination.

What Will You Need To Be Successful?

  • PhD in engineering with proven innovative project management experience.
  • Must have broad engineering knowledge and have soft skills to manage an innovative team and customers.
  • Knowledgeable in technology development, trends, and processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain a professional demeanor.

Special Requirements:

  • Candidates selected must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Pay Rate: $75,000 – $110,000 per year.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
