General Purpose
Performs a variety of print center functions for college employees and students. Assists in maintaining print center inventory and adequate stock of instructional curriculum.
The hours for this position would be:
Monday -Thursday 10:30 – 3:30 pm
Friday 8-3pm

Job Focus
- Provides support to all College employees and students by performing a variety of general copying and printing services with exceptional friendly customer service-oriented approach
- Performs key operator duties using print center equipment. Operate and troubleshoot all Print Center Equipment including digital production printers, laminating equipment, binding, folding equipment, etc.
- Responsible for compliance with copyright laws on center copy machines. Coordinates with development regarding copyright issues on approved curriculum.
- Responsible for monitoring and stocking of program curriculum available through the bookstore; monitors copy machines maintained and supported by the bookstore; reconciles purchases of photocopying services, monitors and orders copy supplies.
- Responsible for obtaining maintenance on print center-controlled copy equipment and maintaining adequate paper and toner supplies.
- Provides customer service to college employees, students, and external customers in implementing innovative means of utilizing digital copy technology.
- Provides backup service for the Print Center Lead
- Provides backup to bookstore with receiving and deliveries, inventory, and other tasks as needed.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Graduation from High School or equivalent with a minimum six (6) months computer training; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Copy Center experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including windows, spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
- Working knowledge of copy machines to include software and hardware.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping for account tracking; 10 key operation; basic mathematics.
- Skill in keyboarding with at least 35 wpm and operation of various types of office equipment and word processing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate various types of office equipment.
- Ability to learn Print Center specific knowledge of equipment and processes.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently, including solo shifts, and manage work assignments in a friendly manner.
