Weyerhaeuser’s St. Helen Tree Farm operation, based out of Castle Rock, WA has an opening for a Processor Operator. We are seeking individuals who desire to work safely in a market-focused logging environment.
This is a full-time hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the current Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays. Base rate of pay is $35.615 per hour.
Key Functions:
- Perform and assist on equipment inspections
- Fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop
- The ability to process/manufacture and sort stems to the required standards
- Process stems safely and competently on and off the road over various slopes and soils
- Implement and participate on new operating software developments
- Quickly respond to different bucking directions as markets change
- Complete required record keeping
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Two years of experience operating a processor
- Competent, qualified, and be able to work independently and/or as a team member

Compensation: Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. The pay rate is $35.615 per hour.
