The Opportunity:

Your role at Sephora:
As an Analyst in Sephora’s Indirect Procurement team, you will support the Indirect Procurement and Sourcing leaders to plan and execute procurement strategies to drive short and long-term favorable results. Reporting to the Director of Indirect Procurement & Operations, you must be able to use experiences to deliver value to key stakeholders and be recognized as a partner to influence business decisions. In addition, you will:

  • Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and reduce spend for procurement and sourcing categories.
  • Intake new sourcing requests, collect business requirements, analyze supplier quotes, and propose unbiased recommendations to business partners.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, service, support, reliability, and distribution capabilities for one-time purchases or those that support larger strategic efforts.
  • Provide input for areas of opportunity and recommend operational improvements and efficiencies.
  • Build project plans and timelines, effectively communicate status updates to key stakeholders, and provide timely identification and resolution of issues.
  • Support the Indirect Procurement Managers in ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to; data collection, cost analysis, benchmarking studies, consolidating spend reports, and contract-related activities such as building and renewing contracts, etc.
  • Responsible for automating and providing insights using data, creating visuals, and storytelling material such as PowerPoint presentations with data-driven insights
  • Serve as an evangelist in spend data analysis and visualization techniques, dashboard designs, Infographic displays, and information delivery best practices
  • Responsible for administration of our Source to Pay Tool (Coupa) and other tools that streamline the Source to Pay process

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 6+ years of corporate/retail level strategic sourcing or purchasing experience.
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, Coupa category strategy, supplier relationship management, and supplier continuous improvement programs.
  • A proven track record of cost reduction and productivity improvements.
  • Expert in executing Procurement systems to improve automation, including but not limited to building and running eRFx events, Auction/Reverse Auctions, building catalogs, order lists, etc.
  • Ability to influence and drive change while building solid relationships with your internal clients and external suppliers.
  • Excellent project and timeline management skills to manage sourcing projects end-to-end, from project intake, onboarding to project closure and transition.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and skill as a negotiator with the utilization of flexible strategies.
  • Ability to successfully influence both internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and interpersonal. Experience interfacing with senior level stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytics, excel, presentation, and data visualization skills (required).

The annual base salary range for this position is $71,000.00 – $94,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
