SUMMARY
Incumbents will assist with the implementation of services and/or programs and preparation of complex Request for Qualifications (RFQu), Invitation for Bids (IFBs) and Requests for Proposals (RFP). Duties include serving as a division liaison; ensuring work product quality and that rules, regulations, laws, and policies regarding procurement are complied with; supervising staff; and focusing on customer service. Incumbents may manage people and/or a program, function, or service.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in a related field, a minimum of five years’ experience in procurement with at least three of those years with public procurement experience, and two years of supervisory or lead experience directly related to the area assigned; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
