What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate the company products and compare them against industry trends.
- Develop and oversee small to medium-scale projects
- Provide assistance with metrics reviews
- Assist Product manager in achieving short and long-term goals relating to product growth
- Develop and oversee small to medium-scale projects.
- Analyze metrics to continually improve company products.
- Contribute to company operations, such as costing, inventory control, planning, and budgeting.
Compensation:
The Expected base pay for the role will be between $102,000 – $110,000 at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonus and other Cover Whale-sponsored total rewards/benefits.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, economics, mathematics or any related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Product Analyst or similar position
Must-Have Skills/Abilities:
- Insurance experience is preferred, financial services will also be considered (Reinsurance or Finance domain knowledge – Advantage)
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Proficient working knowledge of Product Analyst techniques & processes: such as prioritization, backlog management, qualitative and quantitative analysis, user research, and stakeholder management
- Comfortable making progress autonomously, and working alongside subject matter experts in other crafts (such as engineering, data science, UX research, business, and operations)
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to drive product development with high velocity and quality
- Passionate, team-oriented problem solver who understands and differentiates between what users want vs. what they need
- Highly effective cross-functional team management
- Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skill
