Product Designer II

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
    • OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and implementing user interfaces
  • Experience with modern design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch .
  • Demonstrated sense of interaction design attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility and inclusive design .
  • Ability to advocate for your ideas and energize others .
  • Knowledge of UX research methodologies and processes for analyzing collected data .
  • Problem-solving skills .
  • Demonstrated visual design skills

Product Design IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 – $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 – $198,600 per year.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Product Designer II with a passion for consumer and business-facing digital product design to support the design of monetization experiences on the web . You have visualand interaction designskills, demonstrate adaptability, and are excited about the prospect of re-inventing or building new advertising experiences. You will ideate, prototype, and evangelize new customer experiences, evolveour design system s , andbuild beautiful, inclusive,and accessible experiences that help to connect businesses/advertisers with customers .

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead collaborative design efforts across designers, researchers , product managers, and developers.
  • Conduct or participate in basic research to u nderstand the behaviors, motivations, and needs of our customers and then utilize this knowledge to develop relevant and impactful experiences.
  • Work closely with product teams to understand strategic planning and ensure your work aligns to business goals while creating customer value .
  • Draw upon your ability to map end-to-end experiences and ideate broadly to generate creative solutions to complex user scenarios and business needs .
  • Actively engage in efforts to improve our processes, culture, design direction, and customer interaction .
