Job Title: Product Learning Specialist
Location: Newtown Square, PA
Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Product Learning Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to deliver education training content to customers and partners on SAP S/4HANA Finance, focusing on Financial Accounting, using various delivery channels.
Expectations and Tasks:
Deliver trainings (including international trainings) in various channels and formats (e.g. ILT, customer specific training, SAP Live Class (VLC)), including specialist courses within the Financial Accounting area. Communicate with SAP S/4HANA Finance customers beyond the class topics and solve queries independently as far as possible or forwarding those to the appropriate organizational units/stakeholders. Use acquired integration knowledge within course delivery and content development. Support basic CST qualifications in the Financial Accounting area. Responsible for global content (ECM), specifically for finance topics. Ramp up knowledge of various enablement paths provided by SAP Education. Participate in content development activities (material, system, course description, SSG) and adaption of content related to customer’s financial planning requirements. Provide input within Learning Journey Design workshops for courses such as Basics of Customizing for Financial Accounting, Additional Financial Accounting Configuration in SAP S/4HANA, Asset Accounting in SAP S/4HANA, and Financial Closing in S/4HANA. Quality assurance with respect to material and system (e.g. content related reviews, demonstration and exercise tests, translation reviews) and new external/internal instructors (readiness check).
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 3 years in the following:
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA to generate tax reports, including different tax systems;
- Utilizing SAP S/4HANA Support and Implementation for financial processes including AR/AP, General Ledger, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, IFRS and cFIN;
- Integration processes utilizing SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori;
- Implement Controlling Process, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis using SAP S/4HANA;
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA for Validations and Substitutions, BTEs, DME Configuration, Process Interfaces, and IDOCs for financial transactions;
- SAP S/4HANA Project Implementation, Solution Design, and Rollout;
- Utilize Advance Compliance Reporting (ACR) and Tax Declaration Framework (TDF); and
- Provide SAP S/4HANA customer support for escalations and in critical situations through Root Cause Analysis.
Travel: Up to 30% domestic and international travel required to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted from within the continental U.S.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $92,248 – $136,980. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $92,248 – $152,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
