Our team is looking for a dynamic Senior Product Manager who has strong analytical skills needed to solve complex problems and has a natural ability to explore the uncharted. This role will be part of the EUC Partner Transformation Product Management team which works to refine EUC solutions and business operations into a scalable SaaS operating model for our partners. In this role, you will work closely with cross functional teams both inside and outside of the Business Unit including Engineering, IT, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Services and Operations. You are someone who enjoys bringing teams together to discuss the pain points in existing processes and can facilitate the discussions between the cross functional teams to create solutions and document the new processes. We are looking for a Product Manager to be part of our End User Computing Group and our team, focused on SaaS and Partner Transformation. Our mission is to empower our customers in their SaaS journey and standardize SaaS policy across EUC’s portfolio.
The Product Management group is a dedicated team of sharp thinkers tasked with VMware’s most challenging and important growth initiatives. Working closely with customers, global engineering & operations teams, sales & marketing teams, and executive leadership they leverage their technical, analytical, strategic, and process-oriented skillset towards executing high-impact, value-added opportunities. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
You will be responsible for driving License and Usage integrations with our Workspace One Cloud Platform. You will extensively work with customers while also working cross functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solution Engineers to successfully identify market problems, define requirements for product enhancements that solve those market problems, prioritize features, and deliver the products that our customers need.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external product teams to understand their usage definitions across all EUC services.
- Define license utilization rules for new features and products
- Define a central consumption and usage view for all EUC products.
- Conduct meetings with customers and sales engineers to identify customer pain points that can be translated into product requirements.
- Define requirements and use cases for new feature development.
- Prioritize product features and backlog.
- Conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineers to remove impediments to feature development.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing for GTM and launch activities.
- Collaborate with designers to define the ideal user experience for a feature.

As a Product Manager, you will be working with other Product Managers within the Product management team and Business Operations team. You will collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other teams to define, guide, and drive value and success of the overall Workspace ONE portfolio. The SaaS and Partner Transformation team is a growing team with a variety of skills, knowledge, and backgrounds. The PM group is primarily in United States. The team culture is one of continuous learning, collaboration, and respect. Where is this role located?
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
