Product Manager – ArcGIS Enterprise

Overview

Help guide the development of ArcGIS Enterprise, including gathering requirements for the future from customers and potential customers while promoting the current product and vision. ArcGIS Enterprise plays a strategic and central role in Esri’s overall vision for the future of enterprise and web GIS.

Part of your mission is to become an in-house expert for ArcGIS Enterprise to create and maintain product material that can be used repeatedly across the company to help guide our internal staff as well as partners and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader on where to go next and how the broader market is going to be evolving
  • Assist in competitive analysis and gap analysis
  • Help minimize implementation issues by providing internal staff, partner community, and end customers with information on current and upcoming releases
  • Maintain information (technical papers, PowerPoints, and more) on best practices, current release functionality, and more
  • Assist with the generation of product marketing materials
  • Develop demonstrations of existing and new capabilities in a context for Esri sales staff and users including distributors spread across the globe
  • Support trade shows, the Esri Partner Conference, the Esri Developer Summit, and the Esri User Conference

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a product role, such as engineering, development, support, and others
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise in a product support, product planning, or consulting environment
  • Ability to coordinate people and technical resources from multiple areas of the company
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at the technical and senior executive level
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Requirement for travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events and/or tradeshows
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, or related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, GIS, or related field
  • Familiarity with current ArcGIS Enterprise architecture best practices
  • Familiarity with standard IT terminology and concepts

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $83,200.00 – $145,600.00.
