Job Description
DUTIES:
Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction.
Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
Develop and implement global product strategies to accelerate the growth of Pharma Analytics business.
Manage a portfolio detection/quantitation assays and develop and commercialize new viral detection assay solutions to address unmet needs in cell/gene development/manufacturing.
Develop, implement and manage new and/or existing products in a portfolio by creating and implementing product marketing plans, leading New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, and providing data related to competitors, the market, product positioning, revenue and unit forecasting and pricing strategies.
Champion successful launches through requirements, development, and commercialization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, and own the ultimate customer and financial success of new product introductions (NPIs).
Responsible for revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and market share objectives.
Serve as product champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with customers including key accounts. Identify new product directions: work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction and develop, conduct and use voice of customer research.
Support product planning in conjunction with manufacturing and planning teams to deliver optimal service levels for products; analyze profitability and monitor indicators.
Work closely with outbound marketing, R&D and commercial leads, and all stakeholders in the matrixed environment.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of product management, R&D, market development, or related experience. Employer also accepts a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience as an equivalent alternative.
Must have experience or knowledge of:
qPCR and sequencing technologies;
Working directly with customers;
Working with cross functional teams; and
Advanced skills in Microsoft Products: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI.
TRAVEL: Up to 30% domestic and international travel required.
SALARY: $136,322.94-$199,600.00/year
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $136,322.94-$199,600.00.
