The Role: Product Manager – Recall

The Location: Southfield, MI, US remote

The Team/The Impact:

The automotive industry is one of the world’s largest drivers of economic growth and a catalyst for exciting new technologies. SP Global is the leading provider of automotive data, analysis and insights.

We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in product management to join our Recall Solutions product team. The Recall Solutions business is responsible for partnering with OEMs to perform automotive related recalls in the most effective and efficient way possible. SP Global works with the OEMs to ensure the safety and wellbeing of 70M+ vehicle owners each year.
The team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to manage a new product offering that is currently being launched.

  • This role will work closely with multiple sales teams and vendors as well as product managers in other portfolios.
  • It should provide an opportunity to grow and innovate new product offerings within Recall portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as product or project owner on high profile, high impact deliverables from concept through launch.
  • Ensure successful product launch by documenting new product features and enhancements.
  • Create business requirements and work with technical/delivery leads to clearly identify and implement the deliverables, deadlines, resources and budget.
  • Manage prioritization of enhancements, system fixes and client/product/operational requests by using issue tracking system (i.e. Salesforce, JIRA, etc).
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to help build the long-term roadmap for platform/product capabilities.
  • Address internal and external clients’ issues in a timely manner.
  • Plan and coordinate go-to-market activities with Marketing partners for products or product enhancements being launched.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned product to facilitate product enhancements and provide level 3 support.

What We’re Looking For: (Qualifications and Skills)

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in a business related or technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Product Manager
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Must have an experience working with project management and issue tracking software (MS Project, JIRA, etc).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with business and technical team product members and to foster team collaboration with office-based and remote colleagues.
  • Experience in omni-channel campaign management is a plus.

Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): Grade 12

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,400 to $175,650. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
