The Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager – Support who is passionate about building products that our agents and brokers love. You will join a dynamic and very fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy of providing great experiences to our agents and brokers.

Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with business and engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Represent the company by working with businesses to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
Compensation:
The Expected pay range for the role will be between $134,000-$148,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonus and other Cover Whale-sponsored total rewards/benefits.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
• An MBA or similar advanced degree can be a bonus, although it is not a requirement.
• Required: Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role, specifically within the insurance industry, with knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance.
• You understand agile delivery and the difference between today’s solutions vs longer time.
Must-Have Skills/Abilities
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Proven work experience intaking requests from business and translating them into technical and executable action items for development.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred but not required:
- Skilled in writing queries with SQL to retrieve business insights and actionable data.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite with specialization in Jira for dev management.
- Experience utilizing Postman to Get and Post information between in-house and external platforms.
