We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Product Manager (“PM”) to join WorkForce Software in our talented Product Management team. The WorkForce Suite is the industry leading WFM solution for enterprise businesses globally. In this role, you will specifically own and contribute to labor scheduling capabilities as part of the WorkForce Suite.

Being a PM allows you to learn and grow alongside more experienced Product people and build on practices, processes, and methods. You will get a great deal of support and help to give you the knowledge to succeed in your Product Management career. Self-learning is an important part of this role, you must be driven to develop yourself and seek out industry knowledge, emerging best-practice and fundamental Product Management methods.

Day-to-day duties will be varied and exciting with a continuing opportunity to solve customer problems, create meaningful change and craft an industry leading set of product capabilities in a dynamic, agile environment. You will have end-to-end ownership and accountability for your product capabilities and their success as part of a highly functional and collaborative team of product experts.

As a PM, you will have an Agile mindset, great stakeholder engagement, technical communication skills, and a user-centered mindset. A PM is responsible for representing the needs of the business and our customers to the development teams they are a part of.

The PM contributes a genuine passion and enthusiasm for our product and mission. This means having a deep understanding of our customers’ challenges. Your role is to drive value and inspire the team to create solutions that focus on delivering customer and user delight. You will share customer knowledge, their business practices, their users’ needs and their industry or market with the team to inspire and create common understanding. You will have a continual focus on maximizing the value delivered by your teams through careful prioritization and delivery of features and capabilities that “Make Work Easy” for our customers and keep WorkForce Software an innovative market leader.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on maximizing value delivery aligned with target business outcomes, solving key problems for WFS customers, and delivering value at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Own to the near- and medium-term backlog for your product capabilities, prioritizing feature delivery balanced with quality and technical objectives, using best and emerging practice, to meet customer and business expectations.
  • Create valuable user stories with clear acceptance criteria and support others in writing these.
  • Monitor and analyze defined metrics for qualitative objectives and quantitative goals to ensure we are building the right things at the right time.
  • Communicate your planned roadmap and changes with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the long-term product roadmap and execution for your team to deliver value for our customers and stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Management to drive the product strategy and vision, evangelizing to the team and providing needed context.
  • Be accountable for realizing the business benefit and value of user stories and features as a part of your product capabilities.
  • Actively engage with the whole company’s Product Management community to share good practice.
  • Actively focus on your professional development through continuous improvement and self-development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a WFM or HCM organization, preferably in a Product Management role
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders at an intimate and consultative level, ideally in enterprise software or B2B SaaS products.
  • A passion for user and customer experience and product management.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, communicate clearly and manage stakeholder relationships well.
  • Some experience with Agile practices, particularly Scrum or Lean methods, and data-driven product development.
  • A rigorously analytical and metric driven approach to problem solving, balanced with a keen sense of intuition.
  • A strong care about being part of a high-performing, collaborative team.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (researching, planning, developing, launching, maintaining, and decommissioning software products at multiple levels of scale and maturity).
  • Excellent relationship management skills, fostering good working practices with all stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to influence decision making at all levels within the organization, and in a variety of contexts.
  • Some understanding and knowledge of the workforce management process in retail, utilities, or manufacturing (desirable).
  • The ability to work remotely and autonomously as part of a distributed team.

Travel

  • Flexibility to accommodate domestic and international business travel as required (10%-20% of time)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
