Product Marketing Manager, AWS AppFabric

Job Summary

Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.

Companies are deploying software as a service (SaaS) applications spanning a number of vendors like Slack, Asana, Zoom, and others at an unprecedented pace. These specialized applications make certain portions of an employee’s job more productive, but because those applications weren’t built to work together, force context switching, which frustrates employees and counteracts productivity gains. These applications also strain IT and security organizations that need to manage and secure they store. AWS AppFabric solves those problems by providing a common integration point to make those applications interoperable for end users and normalizing security data into a common format for use by IT and security teams. AWS continues to grow this solution by introducing common generative AI capabilities that span SaaS applications from multiple vendors. This position presents a unique opportunity to help launch new capabilities for AppFabric, attract new partners to the service, and accelerate a new business from day one.

As a Product Marketing Manager for AWS AppFabric, you will be responsible for shaping and communicating the AppFabric story and helping the most exciting, best-of-breed SaaS providers engage to help us amplify those stories. You will also help our customers learn about the technology, and communicate what sets AWS apart in the space to our target audiences, including technology decision makers, researchers, developers, analysts, media, etc. This position will interface with some of our most advanced customers to help tell their stories so other customers can learn how they used AppFabric to solve major business problems.

Strong preference for this role in Austin, TX, but could also be based in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. Relocation assistance from within the US only to these locations only.
