Product Marketing Manager, Public Sector Kirkland WA

INRIX is looking for a creative and customer-obsessed B2G Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving go-to-market activities, thought leadership, and messaging primarily for our public sector transportation solutions, also supporting our B2B products.

We are looking for a self-starter who can work at both a strategic level (identifying, evangelizing and getting involved in the right conversations to drive thought leadership) and tactical level (understanding customer’s needs, writing relevant messaging, driving sales enablement and solving problems). You have a deep understanding of public sector intelligent transportation goals, concerns, needs, and recognize key challenges to shape conversations in this space. You nerd out on transportation, are passionate about safety, equity and efficiency in our cities and highways and can evangelize the importance of insights through data.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of public sector transportation experience
  • Minimum 2 years of B2G product marketing experience with a proven track record of positioning, planning, writing and executing successful go-to-market initiatives
  • Experience identifying customer concerns, needs, insights and validation, and turning it into content that move prospects along the sales funnel
  • Experience creating marketing content such as brochures, FAQs, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts that educate potential customers about the capabilities and advantages of our products.
  • Experience equipping the sales team with the necessary tools and resources to effectively communicate product value to prospects.
  • Experience writing or leading grant applications and content for public sector proposals
  • Experience developing graphics for marketing and proposal collateral
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ideally with published articles, blogs, webinars and evangelizing on stage
  • Self-starter with a bias for action; can make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Skilled at analyzing data to measure results, present findings and adjusting to improve
  • Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively across organizational lines

Primary Responsibilities

  • Start and participate in conversations that drive thought leadership in intelligent mobility
  • Enable sales, marketing and customer success organizations to effectively understand and articulate the value of INRIX solutions for B2G transportation
  • Develop the most effective set of sales collateral, presentations, and tools that align with the buying process and help move customers along the sales funnel. Content could include case studies, blog posts, datasheets, workflow analysis, decks, ‘How To’ videos, social posts…
  • Develop clear, concise and compelling product positioning and messaging
  • Develop and manage Public Sector thought leadership articles, webinars, podcasts and speaking opportunities
  • Work with product management to translate features into user benefits
  • Help build key user/buyer personas, use cases, and value drivers for INRIX products
  • Develop and manage go-to-market strategies for product launches
  • Educate internal teams on key terms and concepts used by the industry, and those we should avoid, to improve our messaging and incorporate into SEO programs
  • Analyze data related to campaigns and activities to determine if they are meeting business objectives
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns…)
  • Evangelize the INRIX story by delivering compelling presentations at virtual and live events

The compensation range for this role is $120K – 160K, including base salary and bonus. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. INRIX may modify the pay range at any time.
