Product Owner Web Commerce

Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Product Owner Web Commerce. This person will report directly to the Vice President IT and partner closely with the global businesses and key stakeholders to deliver eCommerce product strategy and vision into a detailed, prioritized backlog of epics, features and user stories.

Position Overview:

This is a broad role requiring customer focus, commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically to deliver end to end customer experiences that support Eaton’s digital vision and strategy for Order Center (Eaton’s web-based eCommerce platform). This position will be based in either Cleveland, OH, Moon Township, PA or Raleigh, NC.

Essential Responsibilities
• Design and communicate product vision, roadmap, and epics to meet customer/business needs
• Communicate goals for product increments and releases and define goals for team sprints
• Manage partnership with suppliers including (contracts, billing, roadmap, and support escalations)
• Own the team backlog and manage & prioritize user stories and technical enablers
• Support estimation of epics, features, technical enablers, and user stories
• Own support issue resolution on a product and solution level
• Collaborate with Tech Lead, Solution Architect, and Release Train Engineer to determine sequencing of user stories
• Manages and allocates product funding across lifecycle activities
• Responsible for product, data, policy, cybersecurity and usage governance
• Understands commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable
• Ensure ongoing support, maintenance, uptime, performance, availability in collaboration with support team
• Manage individuals on the team and coach career development
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand priorities and define business outcomes and KPIs for the product

Qualifications:
• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required
• An advanced degree is preferred
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience as an analyst, project manager, engineer or program lead on complex technology projects and programs, with comprehensive expertise in Web Commerce technologies
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship

Skills:
• Understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes
• Experience working within agile scrum and/or Kanban delivery teams
• General understanding of DevSecOps principles
• Familiarity with modern technology architecture principles including APIs, microservices, and cloud services
• Understanding of functionality of product scope, including Oracle ATG Solution
• Understanding of lean agile principles and practices
• Clear understanding of lean principles with respect to product and portfolio management
• Data orientation and ability to make Data-based decisions
• Comfortable working directly with business leaders and external customers
• Proven ability to drive change across organizational boundaries
• Experience working with diverse, global environment
• Advanced problem-solving skills, often with limited input or data
• Ability to develop new concepts and solutions

The expected annual salary range for this role is $150000.03 – $220000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
