Product Technology Manager

• Estimated annual base pay: $96,000.00 (minimum) – $120,000.00 (midpoint).

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Product Technology Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape our Industrial Products Services Strategy. You will develop and manage service product offerings that serve the full range of our Industrial markets from turbine fuel systems to generator controls through their life cycle.

This position will also be responsible for providing marketing, commercial, and technical expertise for the serviceability requirements of our products as determined by customer/market segment needs. This position will also lead marketing processes that include customer and internal management communications, proposals, development/maintaining product strategies and roadmaps, product rationalization and product lifecycle management.

Qualifications
What you will be doing…
• Accountable for the development, communication and execution of strategic plans for traditional products and markets, including product roadmaps: Includes external measurements of product performance; market share, revenue, customer satisfaction and profitability; includes internal measurements of product life cycle, quality, technical support, marketing programs and sales support
• Accountable for evaluation and recommendation regarding product profitability; maintain, cost, reduction, pricing increase or rationalization. Coordinates with other functional areas as appropriate
• Accountable for development and execution of product launch plan – responsible for creation of product literature, promotional material and internal positioning document in conjunction with existing sales model
• Accountable for providing commercial leadership during all phases of new product introduction when related to multiple customers

What We Are Looking For…
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with energy control technologies in technical role with demonstrated commercial aptitude or product line management
• Additional formal training in specialized areas such as Product Management, Strategic Selling and large account management
• Solid knowledge of engineering principals; mechanical
• Thorough understanding of financial tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
