Job Description
The Production Scheduler will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient planning of when jobs are performed and scheduled to get the most efficient workflow and quickest turnaround for our customer’s products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, the building department, and manufacturing departments
- Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs
- Works closely with inventory control to anticipate the order of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed
- Maintains distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays
- Performs other related duties, as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- At least three years of related experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer knowledge and able to learn ERP systems
- Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred

The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $18 to $20 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
