Senior Facilities & Building Envelope Consultant
Company Overview: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Facilities & Building Envelope Consultant with 10+ years experience in the building enclosure, property condition assessment & roofing industry. Our group is experiencing tremendous growth and we need an additional Senior Consultant to help with technical oversight and management of projects. This person can be an architect, engineer, or senior consultant.
Duties may include the following:
Responsibilities will include:
- Management / technical oversight of building envelope/facilities and roofing projects
- Mentor staff, help with proposals, and serve as a senior technical reviewer
- Daily client management and correspondence
- Planned growth of the service line
Desired Experience / Skills:
- Educational background in architecture, engineering, and/or historic preservation preferred.
- Licensed Engineer or Architect is preferred, but not required.
- 10+ years of industry experience and must be a proven client manager capable of becoming a senior reviewer.
- Competent in identifying and solving constructability, integration, design, troubleshooting, durability, continuity, structural behavior, thermal property evaluation, ADA Compliance, sustainability, and maintenance/ operation of building envelopes/roofing systems.
- The following certifications are a huge plus: Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT)
