High School Diploma or its equivalent is required
Preferences:
- Experience in Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR-PYRL) On-Demand System.
- Experience with collecting and analyzing data in an office setting.
- Experience auditing People First timesheets.
- Experience auditing wage payments and analyzing data
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to coordinate activities required to process and audit all payrolls ensuring each payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner; review fatal errors during payroll processing to determine if the payroll is processing within normal error tolerances; collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow, and other activities; organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials; conduct fact-finding research; utilize problem-solving techniques; work independently; plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; communicate effectively; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Independently conducts audits on leave payouts with deferred compensation and beneficiary payments processed in BOSP.
- Independently Monitors/audits all FLAIR-PYRL Payment Request by State Agencys.
- Formulates solutions for agencies when they have questions/issues using FLAIR-PYRL.
- Audits all payrolls processed through The Bureau of State Payrolls
