This role will be a key part of the Global Compliance Group and will design, drive and deliver key transformational projects and strategic initiatives that support Global Compliance business focused objectives.
The individual will have substantial project management and design experience, including the ability to identify operational process and technology improvements and implement intellectual technology and design solutions. They will act as a center of knowledge on project management, process improvement and change management to continuously strengthen the Global Compliance department’s ability to effectively manage compliance risk across the organization. A key focus will be on using their advanced analytic skills and leading the development of data driven decision-making and the development of ‘fit for purpose’ reporting for both business, functional and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities
The role will report to the Global Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and will cover:
Projects and Change Management
- Lead Project Management for Global Compliance projects from set up; execution and hand over for ongoing BAU operations – this includes:
- defining project scope and objectives, creation of project documentation to initiate, monitor and report on the project
- Implementation of effective project governance to support project delivery
- Development of project plans along with monitoring and tracking progress though to closure
- Actively manage issues and risks ensuring escalation in line with project governance
- Manage project budgets ensuring opportunities to reduce costs are identified and reported
- Manage and motivate project resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Change Management responsibilities include:
- responsible for the change management framework in Global Compliance, including supporting documentation, governance and reporting and driving the change delivery
- maintain an active change log, utilizing gap analysis, impact assessments and cost benefit analysis as applicable
- work with managers in the global compliance team to review and prioritize change initiatives
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities including the deployment of technological solutions working with the broader compliance team in designing effective risk targeted controls
Systems and Technology
- provide oversight of compliance systems, including the use of third party vendors who are providing compliance operations services to Chubb, to ensure they remain relevant, properly maintained and supported and compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards
- review systems and technology capability to increase efficiency, drive improvements and provide solutions that seamlessly integrate with business technological advancements
- keep abreast of technology developments that could further enhance management of compliance risk across Chubb and where improvement opportunities arise, support the development of the business case, request for funding and implementation
- create a compliance technology roadmap for the next 3 years that includes consideration of the deployment of AI; user friendly digital tools to assist in management of compliance risk; and opportunities for continuous monitoring and automated assurance.
Reporting, Data and Analytics
- Design Data Analytics strategy for compliance and develop a plan to implement
- Undertake data modelling for compliance and ensure records are kept up to date and appropriately kept
- Lead the development of compliance reporting utilizing advanced business intelligence tools; assist in the development of KPIs and using data to identify predictive trends, red flags and in triggers in continuous monitoring
Mentoring and Staff Management
- Provide mentoring, oversight and constructive feedback regarding performance of staff in respect of projects, initiative and any delegated work
Qualifications
- 5-10 years proven experience in Project and Change Management in a regulated industry and preferably within Compliance, Regulatory and/or Legal functions
- Understanding of financial services, with preference for insurance and regulatory knowledge and experience
- Excellent written and communication skills and ability to influence, work in cross-functional teams and maintain composure under pressure and work to tight timelines
- Strong working knowledge of technology, along with new system implementation
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint and other reporting, presentation and analytics tools.
The pay range for the role is $117,000 to $189,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
