Director of Behavioral Health – LICSW

NEW Health is looking for an experienced psychotherapist and administrator to take on the Behavioral Health Director role within a thriving, energetic and committed team of clinicians at our North End practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community mental health, motivated, independent, and experienced in providing psychotherapy as well as clinical supervision. We are looking for a clinician who is also passionate about being part of a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team. The Director is responsible for the clinical and administrative operations of the Behavioral Health team, tracks high-risk cases within the practice, provides consultation and support to the clinical team, and supports the quality improvement and direction of the department.
This role requires knowledge and skills around diagnostics and assessment, understanding the intersection of socio-political stressors on overall patient experiences, skills in various treatment modalities, and experience collaborating within a medical system. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years providing direct clinical care to patients with a strong psychotherapy lens, in addition to 3-5 years’ experience providing supervision and/or in a management role.

Qualifications
MA LICSW required
Experience working in an outpatient setting, within a multidisciplinary team.
10+ years post-licensure experience preferred
3-5 year providing clinical supervision preferred
Experience working with adults, and/or children and adolescents.
Experience navigating systems and advocating for patients and the care delivery a plus!

Salary
Starting salary: $90,000
