Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Program Finance Manager to manage the activities of the program finance team and be responsible for the program financial analysis on key programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial planning & analysis, customer reporting and program cost control in federal government contract environment.
- Perform complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program or programs.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analysis systems to guide the financial management of individual programs and contracts to achieve company objectives.
- Assess program performance and track the performance against program budgets.
- Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues.
- Coordinate, negotiate and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
- Establish and define program plan requirements for assigned work.
- Coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans and interface with vendors and customers as required.
- Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
- Provide reporting of key program metrics to senior management.
- Primary interface with Contracting Officer, CO Representative, and Resource Analyst
- Development/reporting of customer deliverable financial products (533Q, 533M, other…)
- Review and analysis of actual costs
- Review and analysis of forecast
- Compare Actual vs. planned cost and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare and maintain FY Program revenue and profit projections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Prior experience in Program Finance and financial planning and analysis, supporting programs of substantial complexity.
- Ability to provide clear guidance to program teams on financial implications of decisions.
- Experience analyzing proposals.
- Strong excel skills.
- Good communication skills.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 – $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
