Job Summary
This position will assist in planning, organizing, and developing various recreation activities/events for individuals with disabilities. This individual will assist in implementing and evaluating programs, supervise volunteers, answer telephones, provide public information and take registrations and reservations, collect program fees, and initiate/organize new activities for individuals with disabilities. Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Age: 18 years old, at the time of application
Requirements:
- Experience with working with individuals with disabilities is preferred;
- Applicants should be available to work weekdays, nights, and some weekends, 8-12 hours per week depending on the event calendar;
- Must possess a valid driver’s license;
- First Aid and CPR certified preferred not required.
Regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees are not eligible for benefits.
