What you will do (day in the life):
In this role, you will work with engineers to define and implement processes and first-time quality of transactions between teams for a large engineering organization.
Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking motivated and talented an Associate Program Management Specialists to join the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Engineering, Test, and Readiness (SITR) Program.
Work Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
We are seeking candidates with high-learning agility, problem solving abilities, creativity, and analytical thinking.
You will also be responsible for project office support that includes coordination of WarFighter/End User (EU) Working Forums (EUWF), supporting industry operations teams with Warfighter & End Users to ensure all teams understand upcoming POIs, events, execution changes and support ops teams in providing plans to support such changes/events, Coordinate End User and product team activities in support of the Operational Acceptance Validation process to ensure that fielded capabilities meet operational needs across all GMD Sites, interact with the customer representing the team for meetings, reviewing/participating in daily status updates and coordinating program reporting for status, milestone reviews, and execution meetings.
- Work with engineering team to develop project plans in accordance with project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
- Work to improve project management processes and business systems.
- Coordinate operational aspects of projects and serve as liaison between the project team, finance, planning, scheduling and management to achieve first time quality in transactions.
- Facilitate large meetings/events.
- Work with Cost Account Managers (CAMs), business analysts, and managers to develop and maintain the project schedule and budget.
- Support project changes and incorporate changes into project control systems to maintain work statements, cost, and schedule baselines.
- Support organizational facility planning.
Requirements
- At least an intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with execution of program planning to include cost, schedule, and technical baselines.
- Experience developing strong relationships with partners (internal and external), suppliers, and customers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work independently .
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.
Desired Experience:
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills.
- Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or GMD program experience.
- Agile development experience.
Required Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters, or 2 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $ 32.21 – $33.65 an hour
