The Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office (PMW 790) is acquiring support services in the areas of production systems engineering, logistics, installation management, and integration/planning/requirements services for the architecture, integration, acquisition, and support of multiple shore and expeditionary Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) programs. PMW 790’s mission is to acquire, integrate, deliver, and support interoperable shore-based C4I capabilities for the warfighter. PMW 790’s vision is to be the preeminent provider of integrated shore-based transformational Network Centric Warfare capabilities to the warfighter by providing assured connectivity between tactical forces and higher commands. The overarching goal is to ensure C4I systems programmed for installation on Navy ships have matching shore facilities of appropriate capacity to support Fleet deployments worldwide. Our goal is to migrate the shore sites and their terrestrial interconnections into a coherent, scalable, network-centric communications and multiplexing fabric designed to optimize functionality by effecting improvements that both satisfy current shortfalls and, wherever possible, provide the building blocks for future C4I architecture.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Management Specialist (Installation Representative) provides support to Assistant Program Managers (APM) in verifying, monitoring, and managing installation readiness, progress, accuracy, issues, and maturity through NAVWAR and PEO C4I processes on the PMW 790 Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office Planning and Logistics Support Services contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
What You’ll Do
- Works with Shore and Afloat NAVWAR PMWs, Submarines PMW, and Shore Advanced Planners to ensure ACFP’s are created, submitted and in alignment with the Synchronized Fielding Plan (SFP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and the SCD (Ship Change Document).
- Facilitates Weekly/Bi-Weekly brief with PMW 790 APM to discuss all issues regarding their installations including FRCB, work scopes, PAIE/FIO cost estimates analysis, funding with a special emphasis on ensuring that future installations get into SPIDER.
- Collects, organizes, and uploads various FRCB documents in SPIDER; notifies FRCB personnel that installation is ready for review and tracks FRCB approval.
- Monitors monthly and weekly SITREPS, advising PMW regarding corrective action if needed. Responsible for monitoring Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) received from Regional Shore Installation Managers (RSIM).
- Review, update and provide thorough analysis to IPMs on installation status and schedule revisions for the weekly dashboard (Current and 30) and the 30,60,90 report.
- Serve as the Single point-of-contact between the Program Office, FRCB, PCCB, ICRR and FRD Installation Office (FIO) Reps.
- Develop Installation Tracker Reports for each Program on tasks created and open in the NAVWAR PEO Integrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER).
- Assist in development of the PEO C4I Advance Coordinated Fielding Plans (ACFP), Tracking Numbers/Job IDs pushed through the Change Queue from FP (Fielding Plan) to 4WP for execution authority.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- HS Diploma required.
- At least three (3) years of experience providing program management support to a NAVWAR integration program office.
- Demonstrated experience using NAVWAR/PE Data Environment & Repository (SPIDER) installation database.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is desired.
INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $75,000. – $85,000. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
