Amazon is looking for a Program Manager to plan and execute transportation supply chain initiatives in the Americas, with a primary focus on Canada. This is a highly visible role with focus on transportation planning, and network design to drive continuous improvement. The role will lead cross functional initiatives, manage resources and risk, steer approvals, and drive implementation. Stakeholders include senior leaders at Amazon, partner operations teams, technology and non-technology teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
Key job responsibilities
– Develop operational strategy and write project proposals.
– Lead large cross-functional projects, end to end, to deploy logistics solutions in Canada.
– Develop functional requirements (tech and non-tech), localized for country specific compliance.
– Liaise directly with senior leadership on defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
– Develop and improve project and program management processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field
– Ability to travel up to 10%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
– Master’s degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
