We are looking for a Program Manager to raise the bar in change management to drive and accelerate change initiatives in IT Services to meet the customer experience and productivity goals – with an impact that spans across the entire network. In this role, you will support change management strategy, ensuring adoption and success measures are met as we continue to learn and evolve our approach. The ideal candidate will directly support implementing the strategy for change management, ensuring adoption and success measures are met and will be expected to spot risks and ask the right questions to ensure appropriate trade-offs are considered. This position will leverage mechanisms to effectively support the implementation of enterprise changes that impact Amazonians through a wide array of IT deployments.

This position will partner closely with Program, Product, and Operational teams as well as regularly communicate with cross-functional leaders throughout the company. Key job responsibilities
• Manage complex problems; analyze data; highlight trends, gaps, etc.; and report key metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in Amazon to drive the design, development, delivery and management of stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, and communication plans to ensure business readiness and adoption for change deployment.
• Construct clear and concise verbal and written communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, expectations, and next steps.
• Assess costs and benefits, identify and mitigate risks, manage escalations, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
• Partner with ITOPM Portfolio Managers to deliver projects having local or regional impact.
• Define program requirements and drive team(s)/partners to meet time-bound objectives.
• Lead and coach key stakeholders in change management process and strategy.
• Identify risks, anticipate and manage resistance, develop specific plans to mitigate any challenges, clear blockers, and escalate appropriately.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

– 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
