Our leading pharmaceutical client is looking for a Program Manager to lead the program team in building and tracking a global project plan across all functional areas. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in Pharma/Biotech with direct experience with clinical-stage program management.
Job Duties:
- Lead the program team
- Build and track a global project plan across all functional areas
- Analyze critical path, and drive plan implementation within established timeline
- Effectively interact with all functional areas to meet deadlines and achieve key milestones
- Provide regular status update and actionable recommendations to Senior Management
- Oversee implementation of approved action plans across functions
- Identify issues and opportunities, with tangible action plans in the short and long term
- Keep track of program total cost, coordinate resources planning
- Review and support resources allocation in collaboration with functional areas
- Ensure financial implications are fully understood, communicated, and implemented
- Develop skills of program team members to enhance their performance as team participants
- Establish best practice for program management across the company
Requirements:
- BS/BA, MSc/MBA a plus
- Experience in Pharma/Biotech with direct experience with clinical – stage program management
- Prior experience with Phase 3 and regulatory filings required
- Experience with the full value chain, from manufacturing to clinical and regulatory, supporting a multi-countries large scale phase 3 program, with multiple studies running in parallel
- At ease in small biotech organizations, with ability to operate at strategic and detailed levels
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence across functions without formal authority
- Track-record of achievement in leading cross-functional teams and product development
- Strong understanding and competency in project planning, including software’s and tools
- Good understanding of manufacturing and process development
- Managing and motivating team to ensure appropriate expertise and focus on the critical development projects from clinical to manufacturing/process development
