Amazon Go is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Merchandising Program Manager with a strong customer focus and analytical skills. This role requires the ability to influence decision-making across your peers, and delivering results will be a critical output. You will help execute and deliver on detailed plans & timelines, and communicate to team leadership on status, risks, and process changes. You will need to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple teams and levels within the organization.
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in Space Planning tools (JDA/Blue Yonder) and experience in Planogram building and digital merchandising
Key job responsibilities
• Ownership of cross-functional merchandising programs – ranges from driving operational efficiencies, delivering financial results, to improving overall customer shopping experience
• Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for innovation and simplification in planograms and merchandising best practices
• Act as the ‘business owner’ for a set of categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external partners while meeting tight deadlines.
• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed goals and KPIs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
– Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
