Freevee adds new titles to the service every month across a wide selection of genres, including comedy, family, romance, thrillers, science fiction, documentaries, and horror.

The Freevee Content & Programming team is seeking a dynamic, experienced program manager with a root in accounts payable to help drive and track payments for our CAM (Content Acquisition Management) teams in the US, UK, Germany, and Austria, which will continue to further our ambitions in the AVOD space and with premium programming. Reporting to the Head of Creative and Content Operations, the successful candidate will be a proven executive who thrives under pressure, and is excited by the challenge of continuously raising the bar through engaging business opportunities to delight our customers and advertisers alike. As collaboration is key, this executive should have a persuasive, clear and professional verbal and written communication style. The candidate must be a big thinker, with the confidence to both defend opinions and collaborate in a highly pressured environment, with the ability to problem solve on a daily basis, with and without supervision.

This is a cross-functional role with extensive exposure to teams within and outside of Amazon Studios. You will work in a dynamic, ambiguous and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to identify problems and develop solutions. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive communication and presentation skills are required. This role is critical in providing exceptional internal customer support and driving functional excellence.

This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking and process improvement. The program manager for CAM will oversee the Content & Programming team’s strategic development payments and tracking for deals in all of Freevee’s available territories. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical and detail oriented, and possesses the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

A day in the life
• Partner with internal teams to understand knowledge gaps and create SOPs, and innovate to develop best practices within the costing and partner payment space.
• Own Avails/Rights Management and Licenses/Cost Management for all AVOD deals across US/UK/DE/AT.
• Own Vendor Management across US/UK/DE/AT.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance Teams to ensure accuracy and support month-end workflows.
• Partner with CAM teams to identify areas of opportunity to reduce time spent on manual tasks and intake CAM feature requests.
• Identify through analysis and execute on opportunities to improve internal user and third-party experience and performance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

– 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

– 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience

– 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

– 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

– 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

– 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

– Being fluent in German is an added bonus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
