Program Manager Supervisor (Tech)

Peraton is seeking a dynamic Deputy Program Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the Program Manager to manage day-to-day progress of a multifaceted program through constant interaction with the Government customer, technical and business managers and immediate staff, subcontractor partners, and program support personnel.
  • Advise the Program Manager and help oversee strategic planning, fiscal, operational, procurement and administrative management of the program.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and evaluate program staff.
  • Help develop and control deadlines, budgets, program schedule and activities.
  • Maintain direct involvement in all process improvements associated with the program.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management to complex program using various tools.
  • Review financial plans for the program.
  • Analyze and resolve simple and moderately complex problems using project management tools.
  • Help maintain teaming relationships with subcontractors on the program and manage subcontractor performance.
  • Prepare, conduct, and run medium to large technical and management meetings with internal and external customers.
  • Proactively provide leadership continual feedback on key program metrics and contract activities using existing tools and feedback mechanisms.
  • Create and update financial related documentation as necessary.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems with 8 to 10 years of experience in project management; OR Master’s degree with 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience; OR in lieu of a degree 12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in government or private industry in contact center operations management or other relevant work areas.
  • Minimum of 4 years progressively responsible Management, Project Management or equivalent specialized experience with Project Management tools and techniques.
  • Should be able to identify and communicate program risks and recommend mitigation.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Before beginning work, candidate must obtain interim staff like access based upon an IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation security clearance.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
