Summary
- The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing those activities that are necessary to successfully complete the Oncor Resiliency plans and other Engineering Standards and Maintenance Strategy cross functional efforts.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance with the training and reporting requirements set forth in Texas HB 2555, and for coordinating with internal stakeholders across the company, including Vegetation Management, T&D Operations, ESMS, Transmission Engineering, PMDS, Construction Management, and others, to support the safe and reliable operation of Oncor’s Transmission & Distribution facilities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to enhance, and maintain, training programs and documentation related to resiliency programs such as undergrouding distribution lines, lightning protection, wildfires, flood mitigation, information technology/cyber security and system hardening.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop, enhance, and maintain those processes that are necessary to support reporting requirements related to Texas House Bill 2555.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and prepare Oncor’s resiliency plan in preparation for the issuance of substantive rules for HB2555 in December 2023.
- In coordination with internal stakeholders, develop a strategy to implement Oncor’s wildfire mitigation plan and document all incidents and impacts of wildfires in Oncor’s service territory.
- Continuously tracks the progress of all resiliency efforts, both internally and externally, in order to analyze program performance, identify program risks, and support implantation of appropriate measures to ensure program success.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to enhance, and maintain, a vegetation management imagery and work management application that can be leveraged for planning purposes, status reporting, and as a central data repository for audits and/or future reference.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain those processes that are necessary to ensure existing and future data (e.g., LiDAR, satellite imagery, etc.) is leveraged effectively across the Transmission and Distribution Organization.
- Effectively communicate and resolve issues with other work groups while presenting detailed documentation and plans ranging from conceptual to complex in nature.
- Effectively manage multiple assignments while maintaining work product quality, reliability, and volume.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Education – Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or discipline closely related to construction or project management preferred.
Program Manager
Experience -3 plus years of experience in the data analytics, engineering, design, operation, maintenance or construction in Distribution or Transmission.
Skills:
- Under minimum supervision, ability to apply complex analysis to identify the best solution to a technical problem, and to effectively communicate with all stakeholders; ability to lead, direct, and motivate others.
- Familiar with the Distribution and Transmission systems
- Experience scoping, tracking and reporting results of projects or programs
- Ability to coordinate key stakeholders to accomplish cross organizational tasks
- Understanding of company policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues

Program Manager Sr.
Experience -5 plus years of experience in the data analytics, engineering, design, operation, maintenance or construction in Distribution or Transmssion.
