Program Mgr, Parcel Strategy, AMXL CX & Analytics

AMXL is looking for a Program Manager to join our PMO (CX and Analytics) team focused on supporting the network growth driven by large parcel and emerging businesses volume expansion strategy in the end to end network. In this role, you will support several key programs and initiatives in the network outside of AMXL and influence multiple cross-functional teams’ roadmaps to drive best in class experience and damage improvements.

The AMXL Program Manager (Large Parcel and Emerging Business Strategy) is a core member of the AMXL PMO team, who leverages the unique perspective into operational execution and scalability, and spearheads program improvements, network partnerships, and strategy vision from this. This leader proactively engages with key business stakeholders across the company to bring forward the complexities of AMXL and to identify and deliver critical customer impacting solutions that drive volume growth. Areas of concentration for the PMO Program Manager will span the entirety of our network, bridging the gap between operational processes, mechanism creation, and innovative solutions to reduce risk. Key job responsibilities

– Advocate on behalf of AMXL and identify operations improvement opportunities throughout the business using data, defect specifics, and verbatims.

– Build structured governance models that drive people, process, and improvement initiatives to mitigate defects end-to-end.

– Formulate insights and present well-reasoned, data-driven proposals to cross-functional stakeholder teams on opportunities in areas of volume expansion strategy.

– Support development of strategies/programs, and influence prioritization of improved customer experience projects across the organization.

– Develop/drive business and program progress reporting as it relates to LP and Emerging Business Strategy and manage engagement with the stakeholders.

– Deliver product/program quality improvements based on data that directly or indirectly impacts the customer experience.

About the team

The AMXL PMO office has a 360-degree approach to continuously advocating for, and driving improvements on behalf of our customers. We seek to drive these improvements by:

1) Eliminate – detect, solution, and resolve customer-impacting issues upstream by providing relevant and timely insights for operations and transportation teams, and product development cycle,

2) Automate – continuously assess and identify opportunities to provide automated, self-service solutions for our operations and our customers, and

3) Optimize – we optimize the AMXL support experience with structured intake, tools, resources, policies and protocol to deliver to connect with external teams and execute tech solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

– Bachelor’s degree

– 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with retail, product/program management, operations, and analytics teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

– Understanding of the complexities of supply chain and inbound freight handling

– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech team

– Executive level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical/non-technical teams

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Analytical and quantitative skills

– Executive level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical/non-technical teams

– Experience working in customer service or related industry

– Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
