Program Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Program Operations Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA with some remote work possible. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA’s customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support in the program’s staffing efforts including resource tracking, onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain all staffing trackers and develop staffing inputs as part of weekly, monthly and bi-annual deliverables, including ad-hoc data requests from Senior Leadership
  • Develop staffing metric dashboards to further streamline and quickly extract staffing data for varying requests
  • Closely coordinate and collaborate with the Program Operations Team, Talent Acquisition, Subcontracting partners and hiring managers on staffing needs and candidate submittals
  • Support in establishing new or enhancing existing staffing processes
  • Assist in planning and coordinating program culture and engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2-4 years’ of experience or Master’s Degree and 0-2 years’ of experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years project/program/operations management experience with software engineering projects
  • Minimum of two (2) years of communication management experience
  • 1-2 years of experience is staffing or resource management
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience crafting and coordinating official correspondence
  • Excellent administrative/organizational abilities
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have an Interim or Active Secret clearance or higher (i.e., Top Secret).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise level strategic communications.
  • Experience working in a SAFe or agile software development environment.
  • Experience using tools that support agile development, such as SharePoint, Confluence, and IBM ELM.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 – $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
