You have completed a BS Degree in Business, Engineering or similar field, or related experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in closely related project work for at least 4years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

  • Previous scheduling experience
  • Experience using Primavera and M.S. Projects
  • Previous nuclear experience
  • Some Project Management experience
  • Previous Excel and/or SAP experience
  • Basic knowledge of project management plan development, implementation and administration including knowledge of processes, procedures and tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with staff & management
  • Excellent working knowledge of PC-based applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Basic problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on “root cause” analysis
  • Good report development skills

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Project Administrator in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Project Management Office in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include developing and maintaining project schedules, updating schedule status and analysis using Primavera and Microsoft Project software’s, interfacing with multiple business lines and organizational units to develop schedules and project-related reports, generating accurate, timely reports for senior management and executives. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with the management of less complex single product line commercial projects from proposal development and award through contract closeout. Responsibilities may include assisting PMs with project planning, scheduling and control of related activities, tracking project activities and schedules, assisting with the development of project updates, costs, overruns, etc.

  • Assists project leadership for major commercial design, construction, expansion, extension, renovation or component replacement projects.
  • Assists with the coordination of project plans/schedules/materials to ensure project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Assists with the development of project assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members.
  • Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing personnel, materials and equipment.
  • Helps define and forecast needed skills to meet project objectives.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $70,000 – $92,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
