Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Project Analyst, in support of a US Government client in Stuttgart, Germany, to serve as a SME that provides project management and financial analysis expertise.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project management of activities for the contractor’s operations in the Clients AOR including reviewing status of projects and budgets, support the modeling via the use and maintenance of a multi-faceted financial template model various project level financial scenarios (e.g. funding modeling, cost impact modeling,
- CLIN health/funding run-out dates), managing schedules and preparing status reports, assessing project issues and risks and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, assist with the completion of ROMs (Rough Order of Magnitude Estimates), RIPs (Request to Initiate Purchase), and TARs (Travel Authorization Requests) and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Roles and responsibilities for this position include:
- Supports all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
- Oversee and support the management of all operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as liaison between project technical support and planning, project team, and line management, and the Military/Government customer lead
- Responsible for financial analysis support based on the direction of the Program Business Manager such as: monitor project financial trends (spend plans, burn rates), provides what-if financial scenarios, prepares financial data reports, supports invoice reviews to include client requests for information and approvals
- Responsible for all Project Management Tasks based on the direction of the Technical Lead to include: project schedule, deliverable tracking, monitoring/manage project deliverables uploads to the share portal, Monthly Technical Status Meeting slide preparations and presentation
- Responsible for travel management; drafts/submits Travel Authorization Requests (TARS) into the workflow for approval; drafts/submits expense reports for the team to support timely invoicing activities
- Manages all subcontractor statements of work and work performance by suppliers, Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Provide data management and Quality Assurance (QA) across multiple projects and information systems to meet both Knowledge Management (KM) and Records Management surety requirements to client facing enterprise.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with program manager and clients
- Provide periodic and ad hoc status reports focused on progress, newly identified issues, closed issues, and challenges
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of project management and financial analysis experience or a combined total of a minimum of 9 years between education and relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements
- Relevant and current experience with DoD project management with any of the Combatant Commands for a minimum of 5 years
- Must have the ability to identify personnel and mission issues early, develop mitigation plans and communicate potential impacts and alternate course of action impacts to the customer.
- Experience with having worked within a multiple customer reporting environment
- Knowledge of contract accounting, GAAP, FAR and JTR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office /Office 365 (specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and EXTENSIVE knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (advanced pivot table use, cause and effect relationship modeling, etc).
- Proficiency in SharePoint platforms
- Ability to learn new IT systems and create process instructions for others to follow
- Must have experience working with geographically distributed teams comprised of personnel from multiple companies
- Ability to relocate and live in Stuttgart, Germany and work in local and client facilities.
- Ability to obtain SOFA status. Must be willing/able to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of the program
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport
- Requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- Master’s Degree and Credentialed as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
- Experience with briefing senior government leadership
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and subcontractors

Target Salary Range
$104,000 – $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
